Troy Barrow aka nusevoice is a Documentary and Fine Art photographer based in New York City.

I always had a passion for and an affinity with Art / Photography. My first career choice out of my teens was graphic design back in my native Barbados, although fate/circumstance led me in other directions, the love for the arts has always been present. Instead, I engaged in a career doing Hospitality Management for many years and when I relocated to New York from Barbados in 2003 I continued on that path. Still, my passion for art persisted and I started dabbling with illustration and design again just for fun, to release my creative energy, some may say.

I am currently a New York Institute of Photography (NYIP) Photojournalism student and an avid street and documentary photographer, focusing mostly on candid photos of people and scenes which make interesting stories.
